The Chevrolet brand is staying ahead of the competition with advanced driver assistance technologies, like the industry’s first hands-free driver assistance: Super Cruise™. This advanced tech will be available on 2023 Chevy Tahoe and 2023 Chevy Suburban models.
Super Cruise™ hands-free driver assistance functions through an innovative combo of precision Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) map data, real-time cameras, sensors, and GPS. When working in tandem with lane sensing cameras and adaptive cruise control, Super Cruise™ can manage your Chevy vehicle’s steering, acceleration, braking, and following distance.
You’ll still need to stay alert and keep your hands on the wheel when utilizing Super Cruise™, as it does not make your Chevy a fully autonomous vehicle. While engaged, Super Cruise™ will even monitor the driver’s head and eye position via a Driver Attention System, and it can send an alert when manual steering is necessary.
Super Cruise™ technology will be available on Premier and High Country models for the 2023 Tahoe and Suburban. Other trims in the Tahoe and Suburban lineup will feature modern tech like a 12.3-inch diagonal configurable digital instrument cluster, Magnetic Ride Control™, and up to 13 available camera views.
